work with some of the nation's top CEOs, corporations, investors, policymakers, trade associations, and business leaders, providing high-level legal, media and strategic counsel to advance and protect their interests.
As an advisor on a range of consequential deals, decisions and transactions, I have helped companies manage risk, regulation and reputation, engage investors and customers, master the media, engage shareholders, and shape public opinion.
For decades, I served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown, director of a noted Washington think tank, and testified before Congress.

I was educated at Princeton University and Georgetown University Law Center, admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, U.S. Court of International Trade, and the U.S. Supreme Court, and practiced corporate and international law for over 30 years in Washington, DC.
